This is my electronic home; please come in and have a beer, if there is any left…likely your cohorts have left only a pile of empty glass.
If you haven’t heard, I’m getting married soon, on June 19th, 2o10 to be exact. That’s exactly – yes exactly – five years after Jana and I began dating.
The big day is happening in Winona, MN, which despite being as far away from the pole as I’m used to, is quite beautiful. Winona has terrain(OMG!) and is located next to one of the nation’s most well known waterways, rather than the corn and beans(equally known, well or not) that I grew up amidst, in Blue Earth.
Jana is the youngest of three. She graduated from Winona Senior High in 2002 and later from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2006. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Education. While she doesn’t teach, currently, Jana believes strongly in the power of education in confronting the problems that face the modern world.
I am the middle child of five, and so the opportunity for me to terrorize my younger siblings was equal to that of my older brother’s and sister’s dominion over me. Things were interesting to say the least. While Blue Earth was a bit sheltered, I managed to make the most of it. I graduated from BEA in Y2K without incident. After a brief soirée (I worked (partied) at night) at Telex in BE, I moved to Mankato and have been studying technology of one sort or another for the past 6 years.
Jana and I plan on making Mankato our home for the foreseeable future. If you know where to find us, please do!
